”Tis the Season @TLNET-Kids

We’re starting off the Christmas season with The Little Gingerbread Man… run run as fast as you can! We’ll read the story, act out the story with masks, and most importantly build our vocabulary. TLNET Kids Technotown: Special Effects and Robots

Today is Art day!! We went to the Banksy exhibit in Rome!! We talked about graffiti and learned about the artist and also his inspiration from Andy Worhol. Fregene Fun Day 5/5 Pokemon Go!

Today is the last day in Fregene. We finished our summer homework, went swimming, played bingo, go fish, and then looked for Pokemon 😉 it was a great last day together.

NYC Day 8/10 Brooklyn Bridge

Today we walked the Brooklyn Bridge. The pictures speak for themselves. We learned vocabulary about “crossing a bridge” going through a tunnel and taking the subway. A fine way to enjoy a day in New York!     For motivation you have to have cheesecake at Juniors😉  


Boston➡️NYC Day 5/10

This morning we woke up and walked the African American historical trail and talked about the abolishment of slavery, the Underground Railroad and some of the important figures in Boston that made contributions to the causes and where they lived. Then we went to Brunch and Harvard Yard. After we went back to the Hotel and the train station to get back to NY.

NYC Day 1/10

Today we woke up very early(jet lag) and took advantage of the cool morning to walk in Central Park! Then we had breakfast in a NY diner. Omelets, home fries and toast and American coffee!! Then we got ready and took a taxi to the Highline park and went to the Whitney museum! Then lunch and shopping. Dinner at PJ Clark’s which was featured

Reading the current events and News with kids is a great way to introduce them to authentic vocabulary and help them acquire new vocabulary.  The important thing we remember at TLNET Kids is to choose articles at their current reading level and that are age appropriate.
