TLNET kids Springing into Shape for Exams

We have been starting our Spring lessons! Trees, flowers, caterpillars and butterflies. We’ve been playing Easter vocabulary “Go Fish” and memory. We have also been preping for Cambridge YLE  exams for Starters, Movers and Flyers, as well as KEY, PET, FCE, and CAE exams.  


TLNET Kids with Special Needs Learning English

We recently started a new project teaching English in an Italian Private school.The classes consist of mainstreaming kids with special needs. Below are some photos of  hands-on activities being used in helping to learn colors and number and there will be more to follow. ”Tis the Season @TLNET-Kids

We’re starting off the Christmas season with The Little Gingerbread Man… run run as fast as you can! We’ll read the story, act out the story with masks, and most importantly build our vocabulary. Then we’ll sing some Christmas carols, Jingle Bells and We Wish You A Merry Christmas!! We’ll play games like Charades and Bingo, write letters to Santa and be really good

Sabaudia Week 2 International School Support

This is week #2 in Sabaudia and we’ve been working on the international school Maths curriculum, particularly Year 5 British curriculum. It has been challenging. English in the City day 5/5 park and cooking

Today we want to the park to have our wrap up English in the city session. We walked around looking for Pokemon ( following directions in English) played Bingo, go fish and memory, wrote in our daily journals and read some books. Then we went back home for lunch and to make our own afternoon snack. We had a great last day of English

English in the City Day 4/5 Banksy

Today is Art day!! We went to the Banksy exhibit in Rome!! We talked about graffiti and learned about the artist and also his inspiration from Andy Worhol. English in the city Day 3/5 Zoo🐒

Today was day three and we went to the zoo!! First we went to the reptile house. Then we walked down to see the wolves. On our way to the picnic lunch we got to feed the elephants some carrots! English in the city Day2/5 Pool

Today we are spending the day at the tennis club in EUR. We decorated our T-shirts and hats, went Swimming. Then we had lunch, after lunch we had our daily English lesson and journal writing session. We played frisbee today and made rubberband bracelets too! We talked about animals in the Zoo because tomorrow we’ll be at the zoo.


Fregene Fun Day 4/5 BBQ

Today we went to the beach and swam in the swimming pool. We played UNO and Bingo and Go Fish all based around summer fun vocabulary. We made two souvineers to remember this week in 2016 in Fregene.
